Web Developer 
Location: Herndon VA (on-site client environment)
Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph

The Sponsors office leads the delivery, sustainment, and evolution of the broader Sponsors Information Technology (IT) in support of its mission. The Sponsors office leadership provides management and leadership for a wide spectrum of activities. The Sponsors office lines of business include: Network Services, Desktop Computing, Datacenter Hosting, Mission Unique Services and End User Support.

The Sponsors office facilitates strategic decision-making by prioritizing actions, researching and providing relevant context on key issues, and developing options and recommendations to the Sponsors office principals. The Sponsors office works closely with subordinate groups and the broader Sponsor organization to collect, analyze and consolidate both financial and highly technical data for decision makers at all levels of the Sponsor and its community. The Sponsor requires support for the creation and maintenance of graphically intensive placemats and other marketing materials to support the establishment and maintenance of major IT programs, with little to no creative guidance.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Responsible for maintaining, updating, and adding to the Sponsor’s SharePoint website and its functionality according to the Sponsor’s business needs, including charts, imagery, text, and document repositories and file storage structure.
  • Responsible for creating custom graphics upon request such as posters, infographics, charts, awards, certificates, office branding, timelines, and more using a combination of software.
  • Responsible for maintaining, updating, and adding to WordPress websites and its functionality according to the Sponsor’s business needs, including creating charts, graphics, imagery, text, and forms; enhancing functionality via HTML, JavaScript, and CSS; and creating custom news posts.
  • Responsible for producing a monthly newsletter on the Sponsor’s communications system, which entails collecting data and points of interest from external groups, creating graphics, producing imagery, writing original content, and ensuring accuracy of information, sound grammar, and consistent formatting.
  • Responsible for creating custom PowerPoint and Word templates that enable seamless transition with documentation practices of the Sponsor’s hierarchy of offices.
  • Responsible for editing senior leadership notices, announcements, and documents for weekly meetings, office-wide publication, and other daily documentation requirements.

Key Requirements:

  • Certification as a SharePoint Administrator.
  • Demonstrate on-the-job experience incorporating photographs and video into websites. 
  • Demonstrate on-the-job experience with CSS and HTML.
  • Demonstrate on-the-job experience with scripting languages, such as JavaScript and JQuery.
  • Demonstrate on-the-job experience with multimedia tools including but not limited to Premier Pro, After Effects, Auditions, and Lightroom.
  • Demonstrate on-the-job experience with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Additional Qualifications:
  • Demonstrate on-the-job experience exhibiting oral and written communications skills including the ability to explain technical processes and tools to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrate on-the-job experience working seamlessly with contractors from other organizations, as well as with Sponsor staff at all levels.
  • Demonstrate on the job experience with Bluescape Technology.
  • Demonstrate on the job experience with Tableau documentation.
