Currently we have an immediate need to add an experienced:

Software Developer (Systems Software)
Location: Chantilly VA (on-site client environment)

Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph
Compensation: Competitive, Excellent Benefits

The Candidate shall provide support for the Sponsor’s data analytic application development efforts. Additionally, the employee will have extensive experience with code development and documentation in order to improve and complete all facets of the product development cycle from application design, developing user interface and output summary reports, code optimization, testing, and meeting accreditation requirements.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience working on data modeling projects.
  • Demonstrated experience translating business needs into actionable technical requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and optimizing logical data architectures.
  • Demonstrated experience developing custom database scripts, queries, and graphical interfaces.
  • Experience designing, building, and deploying production ready data pipelines incorporating SQL and NoSQL backends. Experience using cloud resources such as AWS or Azure.
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with source control software such as Git or GitHub.
  • Experience using issue management software such as Jira, and collaboration/documentation software such as Confluence.
  • Demonstrated experience with the deployment of infrastructure and configurations.
Key Duties:
  • Support smart exploitation of data through the deployment of new data architectures and pipelines.
  • Participate in the development of machine learning, data mining, and statistical or graph-based algorithms designed to fuse and analyze massive data sets.
  • Design architectures for platforms that enable the collection, analysis, and visualization of multiple points of geospatial and relational data.
  • Serve as a lead in capturing and aligning data from multiple components and sources.
  • Leverage relational and graph databases to address the project's requirements.
